Congratulations to Garstang Ladies Development who finished their debut season on a high on Saturday 13th April 2024. Following our Ladies 3s, who in drawing both games against @prestonhc1903 and @didsbury_hockey finished a respectable 2nd place; our Ladies Dev took to the pitch for a nail biting final as both teams gave it their all. Not for the first time this year, Garstang faced Brookfield Development in the final of this knock out cup competition. Both teams played well and the game stayed 0-0 for some time. In the final minutes, Garstang took the lead and ended the game 1-0, becoming champions of their first ever entry into the Lancashire Cup.

Well done girls, your club is proud of each and every one of you. A huge thank you to all our supporters yesterday and throughout the season too. A special mention of thanks and appreciation for the organisers of yesterday’s event and all the rounds beforehand by Lancashire Hockey Association. Time for a well earned rest!
