A great week with the Club WELL represented at last weekends Umpire Tournament at the Armitage Centre, Manchester. Attended by Charles, Helen, Caroline, Frank, Mattand both Jemma H and Grace from the 1st team, who went under their own steam!!

Congratulations to Matt who is now a qualified Umpire Development Coach and Jemma who passed her Level 1!

Monday evenings "Rules" night was well attended also and umpires will be supporting all teams over the next few weeks with the changes so ensure you're on board at training and the upcoming friendlies.

Umpires are a vital member of our teams and without them, we simply wouldn't be able to play hockey. Money raised by the Club through fees, fundraising and sponsorship all help to send umpires and coaches on coaching courses like this, to develop their skills further and help us all become better players.

Matt is the lead contact for all umpiring matters so if you'd like to join the pool or just be better informed... he's your man!
